Evonik celebrates expansion in Birmingham

German industrial firm Evonik showed off its new global Competence Center for Medical Devices Tuesday,   telling Gov. Ivey and other key leaders that the $50 million expansion will help the firm develop new medical technology systems and expand its competencies in biomaterials and medical polymers. Auto parts maker celebrates new home in Jasper
