Sharla Horton has joined Red Sage Communications Inc. as social media specialist. Horton previously worked at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville for 15 years as the social media strategist. There she managed social media campaigns aimed at global audiences. She also served as sales and communication manager, where she marketed and sold more than $3 million in Space Camp programs.
A native of Russellville, Horton attended the University of North Alabama and Birmingham School of Law.
“I truly enjoy the variety of projects I am able to work on at Red Safe. From our healthcare to military and defense partners, it’s such an exciting opportunity to share their stories and mission on social platforms,” said Horton.
Horton also is an active speaker at many marketing events, including her work with North Alabama’s Public Relations Council of Alabama’s Big Marketing Event.
